The Coach Steve Clark PhD Show with Alex Waske, NCAA All American, ATP Great and Owner-Director of Tennis University

The Coach Steve Clark PhD Show

With Alex Waske

(NCAA All American, #89 ATP & German Davis Cup player)

Thanks so much for tuning in to the show. You will really enjoy this podcast and I highly suggest you have as many young players (juniors, college and even players testing the professional circuit) listen to what Alex has to share.  I will let him say it but you will hear from a former NCAA All American, a top 89 ATP player who had wins over #1 Rafa Nadal and the #1 Bryan Brothers in the same year and now owns and directs Tennis University coaching many elite ATP/WTA players and

upcoming juniors.  You will hear from a very successful  player who shares that very few believed he was good enough to represent his region or state in the juniors and it was not until deep into his college career that he believed he could be a great player.  His journey MANY juniors can relate to and take encouragement that they too can become the best they can be.  We talk of character, attitude, and the willingness to learn among many things and note that raw talent or the technical aspects are not the main focus of what Alex (from his experience as an elite college, professional player and now coach of elite players) sees is needed for success.  This is a discussion every junior and player passionate about the game should hear. Listen in.
